Hey! You really gotta get outta the house and see the place you're living in! If you at least make a bit of effort to speak to more poeple, you'll find out where to go. With the exception of minor language barriers at first, I had a great time when I stayed in France.

Also, i had no idea that 'an' was supposed to be placed before 'h'. I thought it was only used before a word beginning in a vowel? Then again my English was Brit-Colonially inspired...who knows.
